A Switch to RE/MAX Already a Big Win
As reported in Above Magazine, after 25 years with Coldwell Banker, a Georgia broker made the decision to switch to RE/MAX.
RE/MAX Regency is a new name in the Suwanee, Georgia real estate market. But the results of the firm’s top-producing agents have been well-known in the community for decades. Much of the brokerage’s success came during its 25 years under the Coldwell Banker brand – and more specifically, under the leadership of Broker/Owner, Lisa Macy.
After years of competing with corporate-owned franchises for resources and market share, Macy knew her agents deserved more. As Macy considered her options, one real estate brand topped her short list. Converting the office to RE/MAX meant that her nearly 30 agents could get more quality leads. Additionally, they would have:
- Unlimited access to technology, social media, and marketing tools
- Hands-on training through RE/MAX University
- All of the competitive advantages of the worldwide leader in residential sales
In May 2017, the office converted to RE/MAX.
The right time for a switch to RE/MAX
Jennifer Baxter, who is Macy’s daughter and the president of RE/MAX Regency, says that the heightened energy and camaraderie as a RE/MAX office has reaffirmed the move.
“Multiple RE/MAX Broker/Owners reached out to welcome us to the network, and we’ve received ongoing support from the regional team. It feels like we’re among peers now; before, it felt as if we were competing against everyone else.”
Macy recently traveled to the RE/MAX Headquarters in Denver, Colorado to visit a training center. There, she was able to learn and get insights into managing her new RE/MAX brokerage. When asked how her team handled the transition, Macy said, “they couldn’t be happier!”
“They’re already thriving with that RE/MAX Balloon behind them. We’re more focused on helping our agents build their businesses and become entrepreneurs. It’s built into the culture here. RE/MAX lets people run their own businesses while offering the right mix of support and encouragement. We didn’t have that before.”
