Since the mid-80s, Richmond has always been a key Real Estate market for RE/MAX. While RE/MAX open in Richmond in the 80’s, our real estate office opened in the mid-1990s and immediately became a permanent magnet for people interested in career in Real Estate in Greater Vancouver. We are one of the top producing offices of RE/MAX Western Canada and we have a good reputation nationally as well as internationally.
The strength of our office are our Realtors®; the Realtor® is our client and our staff are key to our Realtor® administrative/support needs. Together every person is an important player in building a Real Estate office. Our staff is committed to providing quality services to each Realtor®, allowing them to achieve the highest level of service to the Buyers and Sellers they serve. We have carefully chose our receptionist, our “Director of First Impressions”, the Accountant who makes sure to get commission paid daily, our two conveyancers keep the documentation flowing in a timely manner and our broker load staff that get all our listings posted on a daily basis to the MLS® system.
My name is Richard Laurendeau and I was first licensed in 1983 and have been in the Managing Broker role in 1995. I have a been involved with the local Real Estate Boards’ efforts such as: Reciprocity (the feature that allows REALTORS® to share their listings’ data online); the Agency Task Force and for the past 14 years a member of the Real Estate Board Professional Standards committee. I also provided some time as a trainer with the British Columbia Real Estate Association. I continually try to stay attuned to our Realtors front lines experiences which dealing with day to day training and managing duties.
