Quality Client Service REMAX: Part 4

Quality Client Service REMAX: Part 4

Hello, my name is Richard Laurendeau of RE/MAX Westcoast.

I am writing this blog post for you on behalf of Be Your Career – a group of local RE/MAX offices, in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, committed to better serving our realtors.

I am putting this series together as a result of an email series that I had sent out in 2008. During that time, we were faced with a substantial change in the world economy; one that had a brief effect on our local real estate market in Vancouver. As a result, I wrote a series of emails that were well received at the time and I decided to revisit them and reproduce them here in the form of a blog post.

In the fourth and final blog post in this short series, I want to discuss one’s mindset.

The Power of Your Mind – In Business

King Soloman is often quoted in this area. He says:

“A man thinketh in his heart, so he is,” and he goes on to say, “a man is what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of his thoughts.”

A personal favourite of mine is from a book I received years ago . The author is Napoleon Hill and some of you may know it well: Think and Be Rich. In it, there are many quality lines to remember, but this is one that has stuck with me over the years.

“Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

And finally, I want to mention a quote from Peter Drucker, who says:

“There is only one valid definition of a business enterprise and that is to create a customer. The customer is the foundation of a business and what keeps it, the business, in existence.”

So with that in mind, let’s focus on the gameplan for making regular contact with your clients.

Tips for Quality Client Service REMAX

  • Provide regular customer follow-up
  • Educate your clients on the real estate industry
  • Articulate how it is you work
  • Outline the specific benefits that clients enjoy as a result of working with you

While many business coaches would talk about asking clients the order, it is my belief that if we do these things well, give them valid information, do so on a regular and timely basis, that when they need real estate services, they will call upon you.

So with that being said, let’s make a lasting impression by continually providing that quality, customer experience.

If you need advice on how to provide your clientele with Quality Client Service REMAX, then set up a meeting with one of our RE/MAX managing brokers today! We have offices across Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland so you can continue operating in your existing area.
